Sophia first walked into one of our photography workshop sessions back in February and straight away we could see the level of skill and talent she had to offer.
Since then she's become one of the most consistent presences at our shoots. The kind of person who throws herself at the opportunity whether it's shooting editorial with make up and flowers or capturing character profiles with firearms and tactical gear. You look back at the shots at the end of the day and realise she's been quietly nailing it the whole time.
Her work sits in portrait photography, and what stands out isn't just the quality, it's the eye. Sophia has a natural instinct for composition that makes her images feel intentional without feeling stiff. She knows where to put people, how to use a space, and when to wait for the right moment rather than force it.
She's as comfortable in a studio as she is outdoors. Give her a white wall or a picnic in the park and she'll find the shot either way. That kind of adaptability matters, especially when you're working with emerging actors who are still figuring out how they photograph best. Sophia makes that process easy.
Beyond the work, she's just genuinely good to be around. Relaxed on set, easy to collaborate with, and someone who brings out the best in whoever's in front of her lens. That's harder to teach than any technical skill.
She's a core part of what makes Sonder shoots work and we're glad she walked through those doors back in February.
