In Episode 8, the Discovery series lands in Cambodia, a place that somehow manages to feel ancient and alive all at once.
The trip began with seeing the extraordinary Angkor Wat, watching sunset spill over stone carvings older than memory. From there, I swapped temples for beaches and headed straight to Koh Rong. A place that instantly felt like home.
We rented motorbikes and spent days beach hopping, exploring hidden coves and laid-back bars. I got to experience Nestival which came alive, with music echoing through the palms. Just when it felt too perfect, a storm rolled in, knocking out power and turning everything into an adventure.
The last part of the trip was a boat ride around the island. Snorkelling, fishing, and dancing on deck. It was one of those weeks that felt both slow and fast, like time stretched itself out to make room for all of it.
