We tried something new with this one and seeing the results its safe to say that it paid off.
Our first firearm character profile session brought a completely different energy to the studio. It wasn’t just about getting a clean headshot or portrait, it was about building a character, stepping into a role, and creating something with real presence.
A big part of that came from having Will from Alpha Armoury Services with us on the day. His knowledge, attention to detail, and hands-on instruction helped guide everyone through the session properly. Making sure the handling, positioning, and overall feel was authentic. It elevated the whole experience and gave people the confidence to really lean into the roles they were creating.
Behind the camera, we had Elijah Booth, Sophia Cook and Oscar Winstone-Adair, each bringing their own style and approach. The mix gave the session a lot of variety, from clean, sharp character profiles to more cinematic, expressive shots. Everyone came away with something different, which is exactly what we want.
What stood out most was how naturally people stepped into it. Once the tone was set, everyone locked in, supporting each other, trying new things, and pushing their creativity a bit further than usual.
For a first session of its kind, it couldn’t have gone much better.
This is definitely something we’re building on so stay tuned for more sessions, more concepts, and more opportunities to create work that actually stands out.
