ROSH

Some stories are woven together long before they're ever told. Roshu's is one of them.

Roshu Shrestha is the founder of Rosh, a Nepalese rug brand built on craft, memory and home. We had the chance to sit down with her in the studio for an interview-style shoot, and what came out of it was less a business feature and more a piece of storytelling.

Roshu grew up in Nepal, and it's clear those years never really left her. The patterns, the textures, the colours that run through her rugs all trace back to childhood. Memories of home, of the people and places that shaped her long before she ever thought about interior design. She talks about it all with a kind of ease that's rare on camera. No script, no performance. Just someone speaking honestly about where she comes from and how it still shows up in her work today.

Her path into interior design came later, but the path is obvious once you hear her talk about it. Rosh isn't just a rug brand, it's an extension of a life lived between two places, translated into design. Every piece carries weight, and once you know the story behind it, you see the rugs differently.

What struck us most during the shoot was how much care goes into everything Roshu makes. The designs take time. The making takes time. Nothing about Rosh is rushed, and that shows in the quality of the final product.

Roshu was a natural in front of the camera, genuine, warm, and completely herself throughout. It made for one of our favourite shoots to be part of.
